Kathmandu Durbar Square
Kathmandu Durbar Square, also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, is a plaza where the old royal palace of Kathmandu stands. This architectural wonder is among the three Durbar Squares in the valley, all of which have been declared as World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO.

Its construction generates all the wisdom of the people of Nepal with the twists of its time. It dates back to the Lichchhavi Dynasty, when art and culture were very highly valued. The Durbar Square is surrounded with other magnificent constructions that all vividly reflect the contributions of Newar artists and craftsmen.

If we can travel back through time, we could see Malla rulers and Shah Kings commanding the city and residing inside this beautiful structure. From the Malla dynasty to the Shah's reign, the royal palace has gone through minimum changes and alterations, which makes it even more staggering to see.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Bhaktapur Durbar Square is another medieval art that dates back to the original name of the city, ‘Bhadgaun’. Among the Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, this particular one reflects equal historical value as the others. This royal plaza is currently situated at the heart of Bhaktapur, which lies about 13 kilometers east of Kathmandu. The four individual squares, Durbar Square, Dattatraya Square, Taumadhi Square and Pottery Square, altogether form the Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Patan Durbar Square
Patan Durbar Square is situated at the heart of Patan City, also known as 'Lalitpur'. Equally important, this royal plaza similarly reflects the Newari culture as the other two architectural structures do. It is one of the major attractions where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided.

The entire exposure is so very well designed and decorated, especially the floors which are famous for their red bricks. This amazing architecture should direct all of its credits to the designers. People feel that not even the latest technology in design matches this unique model.
