Kathmandu is located in the east of Pokhara in central Nepal. The elevation is 1310m above sea level which consists of the temperate climatic zone. Kathmandu is the most historic place in Nepal as there are many heritage sites, temples, palace & museum. You can see many cultural heritages and temples in Kathmandu. Besides culture and heritage tours in Kathmandu, you can also do adventures like Hiking around Kathmandu valley, bird watching tour, and mountain biking. There are seven UNESCO world heritage sites within a very short distance so there are plenty of choices what you would like to do.
Bhaktapur is another medieval city that dates back to 400 years. The original name of this city is ‘Bhadgaun’. Among the Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, this particular Bhaktapur Durbar Square reflects the equal historical value as the others. This royal plaza is currently situated at the heart of Bhaktapur, which lies about 13 kilometers east of Kathmandu. The four individual squares, Durbar Square, Dattatraya Square, Taumadhi Square, and Pottery Square, altogether forms the Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Patan Durbar Square is situated at the heart of Patan City, also known as 'Lalitpur'. Equally important, this royal plaza similarly reflects the Newari culture as the other two architectural structures do. It is one of the major attractions where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur used to reside. The entire exposure is so very well designed and decorated, especially the floors which are famous for their red bricks. This amazing architecture should direct all of its credits to the designers. People feel that not even the latest technology in design matches this unique model.
This miracle lies on the top of a hill beyond Panauti and reflects the true form of Buddhism. Access to it either requires a drive or a good hike. We recommend visiting the site on foot, as it provides maximum exposure to peaceful and relaxing views.
So what’s so amazing about this special monastery? Basically, it holds all messages from Buddha to all followers of the religion. An ancient slab placed inside the monastery forwards messages of peace and is also considered to be a perfect place for meditation. About 2 1/2hrs of the walk from Dhulikhel to its north, this stupa rests above a ledge nearby to the jungle ridge. In February and March, Tibetans and Bhotias are seen to circulate the site. As a precaution, visits to this site during the monsoon months of May, June, and July is extremely discouraged.
A trail further leads to a larger Tibetan Gompa, and in one of the perceived buildings lays a famous stone sculpture depicting the legend of Namo Buddha. This sculpture tells a story about one of the previous lives of Gautam Buddha, basically saying that he encountered a starving tigress and her cubs and sacrificed his flesh to the animals. He is then known to take his next birth as Lord Gautam Buddha. Apparently, the stupa is supposed to contain the hunter’s bones and hair.
Chitwan is located in the center of Nepal in the southern Terai. It is located 148 km away from Kathmandu in the southwest. Chitwan is famous for Chitwan National Park where you can see the endangered Royal Bengal tiger, Gharial crocodile, Gangetic dolphin, One-horned rhinos and many different kinds of birds and animals. The terrain is flat here so you can go for multi-day jungle safari on a four-wheel jeep. Chitwan is also famous for its inhabitants Tharu and their culture.
Lumbini is the holiest place in Nepal where Lord Buddha was born who is known as the light of Asia. This place is 265 km away from Kathmandu to the west. This place is famous as the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Here, you can visit many beautiful monasteries, Stupa and Chorten. Mayadevi temple, Ashoka pillar, holy flame, and holy lake. All these places are the place of tourist interest. Beside this, you can also visit the beautiful monasteries built by several countries.
